TESTING

The unit has been power-on tested.

  • Powers on successfully

  • Front-panel and module status LEDs illuminate

  • Boots into Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional SP2

  • IXIA software is present

  • IxServer opens and reaches “Ready” after displaying memory and hardware test messages

  • External monitor output was confirmed

No live network traffic generation or analysis test was performed. The four LM-100TX Ethernet ports were not individually tested under load, and no calibration or measurement-accuracy testing was completed.

The system clock displayed 01-01-2000 and was not adjusted. Norton Auto-Protect displays a “Could not initialize NAVAP device” message. This message is shown by the installed legacy antivirus software, and no repair or software reconfiguration was attempted.
